Ms. Davidson separates herself from other attorneys through personal attention to clients.  Because she understands the importance of communication, Ms. Davidson uses an iPhone to check her emails while she is out of the office and provides her cell phone number to clients.   She is available for any need her clients may have at virtually any time, and she offers short turn-around time on urgent matters. 

When you work with Ms. Davidson, you will be informed of your options.  Ms. Davidson will communicate with you in plain English and keep you posted on the progress of your project.  Your legal work will not be handed off to someone who lacks experience.  If Ms. Davidson doesn’t have expertise in a specific area, she will refer you to the appropriate professional.

Estate Planning | Contrary to what many people believe, estate plans aren’t just for the wealthy.  There are many options available in estate planning, and it is important to be completely informed.  A good estate plan is one that is carefully designed to meet your needs and matches your circumstances.  While there are standardized estate planning forms and kits available, these so-called plans are not created with you or your family in mind.  There is no one plan that can meet the needs of every person.  You need an estate planning attorney who will take the time and put forth the effort to get to know you and your family.  Ms. Davidson will work with your financial professionals – your accountant and financial planner – to create a truly individualized plan. 

Ms. Davidson also encourages you to think of your plan as a process, not a product.  Your life is constantly changing.  You cannot know in advance when your estate plan will be needed; therefore, your plan must be revised to reflect your changing circumstances. Ms. Davidson is available to work with you on an ongoing basis, updating your estate plan to continually accommodate your situation.

Trust Administration | Trust administration is just as important as the initial planning on an estate.  If you suddenly find yourself responsible for winding up the affairs of a loved one or distributing the assets remaining in a living trust, Ms. Davidson can assist you.  If done properly, trust administration can go relatively smoothly, at a minimum expense.  It is important to have a knowledgeable attorney who will ensure that everything is done correctly and that the trust maker’s wishes are carried out.   

Probate | When someone dies, court proceedings may be required to appoint the executor or administrator of the estate, pay the decedent's debts, determine distribution of remaining estate assets, and legally transfer title of those assets to the appropriate beneficiaries. Probate can be slow, expensive, and tedious.  When you work with Ms. Davidson, you can rest assured that your legal paperwork will be prepared correctly and your case will progress as efficiently as possible. 

Business Formation | The form of business selected is integral to its success and to the protection of your estate.  After listening to the goals and objectives of the business, Ms. Davidson explains the pros and cons of various business structures.  This enables her clients to select the appropriate entity: a corporation, limited liability company, partnership, or sole proprietorship.  Once the business is up and running, Ms. Davidson is available to provide ongoing assistance with maintenance, contracts, and sale or dissolution.
