For the past seven years, Ms. Davidson has devoted her law practice to estate planning for individuals, families and businesses; trust administration; and uncontested probates. She works closely with your professional advisors to ensure that your estate plan preserves your assets and protects your loved ones. During trust and estate administration, this same team approach eases the burden placed on your fiduciary.
Ms. Davidson received her law degree from the University of San Diego, School of Law, in 2001. She was a member of the San Diego Law Review, which published her comment “Internet Gambling: Should Fantasy Sport Leagues Be Prohibited?” in 2002. A recipient of the Alec L. Cory Award for Outstanding Pro Bono Service, Ms. Davidson’s experience includes directing Pro Bono Legal Advocates, externing for Judge Thomas Whelan (U.S. District Ct. for the Southern District of California), interning with the San Diego District Attorney’s Office, representing clients through the University of San Diego Tax Clinic, assisting a professor with criminal defense research, mediating for the San Diego Mediation Center, and assistant-teaching law courses. She also received the American Jurisprudence award in Biotechnology Law.
Ms. Davidson received her undergraduate degree from Eckerd College, a small liberal arts school in Saint Petersburg, Florida, with high honors in Psychology. She is licensed to practice law in Florida and California.
Ms. Davidson is involved with a number of legal groups, including the American Bar Association's Real Property, Probate & Trust Section; the California State Bar's Trusts and Estates Section; and the Contra Costa County Bar Association's Solo & Small Practice Section. She served as President of this last group from 2005-2007. From 2007-2008, Ms. Davidson sat on the board of the Diablo Valley College Foundation, where she assisted with planned giving.
